I am having issues with my Fitbit Charge, the screen won’t come on but there is a flashy green light and I tried to charge and the screen still won’t come on. Why is this happening? I haven’t even had this watch for a month, can you anyone assist?

I bought charge 3 yesterday. It did sync and connect first time. It started the update process and went to install and didn’t go any further. Now it is off and I can’t get it turned back on. Trying all the steps listed nothing is working. Seeing all the problems on the forums looking at just returning this device. Have had a Charge HR for years and never once had a problem. There is no vibrate or anything when I plug it in.

Once I connected it to the computer, everthing works fine. If I could not have solved it, I would have called customer service. Thank you for reaching out to all of us.

Two of mine died in less than three months.
After many year I completely switched to the competition, and I'm now a happy dude who counts this thread getting longer (over 200 and counting, only here, and Fitbit admit NOTHING) :-)))

I have had my charge 3 for a while now and have had the black screen on and off from the beginning, it used to comeback with a clock change, but now it has now happened 3 days in a row, day one clock change did not work, but I was able to perform the reset, day 2 I was unable to perform the reset with my 3rd party cable at work, but after a few tries I got it to reset at home with the original cable, now it has happened for a third day and I cannot reset.
are there any other resolutions other than the reset and clock change?
I like my fitbit when its working but this needs better resolution

An Update...third day, still no resolution with clock change or reset, but I found instructions for the long reset and I have display again. I needed longer than the 15 sec hold (25, 35 sec, maybe a bit more).
The fact that it is getting worse worries me. Is FitBit doing any thing to actually RESOLVE this? The term on this thread "Solved" is not true, it is a band-aid at best

One more update... while the screen still comes on, the bottom portion flickers, and kinda 'pixelates'

I was in love with Fitbit for more than 4 years, and the charge 3 changed my mind in three months. Switch brand!
