I am having issues with my Fitbit Charge, the screen won’t come on but there is a flashy green light and I tried to charge and the screen still won’t come on. Why is this happening? I haven’t even had this watch for a month, can you anyone assist?

I started have an issue when my battery went completely dead while on vacation.  Upon recharging, the screen was alternating on it's own from the clock face to notifications screen.  It would never settle.  I tried the hard restart, held the button 15 seconds, go the progress bar, and it restarted.  Once restarted, the screen would not swipe in any direction but down.  My phone was able to sync though.  Tried another restart, but now I have a blank screen.  No vibration when plugged into charger, no lights on the back, nothing. Tried restarting again a few times with no success.  I have seen several users with similar issues, any ideas that might work?  Thanks for helping.

I've tried changing the clock face 3 times today -- still nothing.  just some light vibrations.  still a black face.  no smiley face ever pops on!

I spoke with the Fit-Bit customer support yesterday.  Bottom line is if it won't start when holding the button down for either 8 or 15 seconds either the battery isn't charging or the device is a goner.  If your device still vibrates when you attach the charger then you might have a chance.  Mine won't even do that.  They sent me a 25% discount code to use at their store but even with the discount I can get it for less through amazon.  Old one is trash.  They do offer a 2 year warranty for an additional $30, which might be worth it.

There are steps you can find on the support site as to how to manually reboot the device.  Good luck, that's probably your best and only shot.

What a bummer that is! You are lucky to get through a customer service representative. I just couldn't. Very disappointing 😞

I think most of the people had this problem with their Charge 3 device, so you are NOT ALONE! I got a free replacement after reaching out 3 times to their customer representative online. You should do it if your device is still within warranty guarantee period.
