Charge 3 won't turn on

I am having issues with my Fitbit Charge, the screen won’t come on but there is a flashy green light and I tried to charge and the screen still won’t come on. Why is this happening? I haven’t even had this watch for a month, can you anyone assist?

Thanks Alejandra, but it obviously doesn't work. At all!

I already raised with the support describing my troubleshooting and they "promptly" (two days after my solicit) started the return process.

In the meantime I'm, and I'll be, without a tracker for a while.

Less than two months old, and adding a former experience with an Aria scale, changed twice. I have to say that reliability wise I am very unsatisfied of the quality check process you have in place.

Your items are supposed to be used 24/7, but even with a substitution you don't consider the distress you causes to the (now unhappy) customer.

Hi Marre.

As a starter, you could provide a quick substitution of confirmed defective item, directly in one of our gazillion of authorized reseller, rather than the customer to wait for weeks before being back on track.

Famous companies do that, and looks like they didn't get broke 😉

i am having the same problem as Lizzie... i cant get past the smiley face. Can i send my tracker into Fitbit and have them try to get it working?

I tried it but after the smile what do I do? And I just got it so I can’t change the clock face

This hasn’t worked for me. When I pug the fitbit in it vibrates but then when I hold the side button nothing happens. No smiley face  also no battery light on the screen when I hook it up. Just a vibration. Please help.

I am having this same problem, my charge three is only three weeks old and the screen shut off today. I tried plugging it in and it vibrates but the screen will not turn on. Can anyone help here? Thanks!

Thanks for troubleshooting this display issue by yourselves. I recommend changing the clock face on your devices by following the instructions provided in the help article How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?.

I tried everything and it still won’t work. It vibrates but I can’t see anything. Please help.

Go for a return.

It is anyway a PAINFUL and slow process. 

You will be asked to DROP your parcel to a DHL site, which is obviously open only at the same time you're at work. THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE YOU A PICK-UP OPTION.

After two weeks, I'm still unable to send the parcel back.

Apart of sending you a new (new, either refurbished? Who knows?), they won't compensate the distress they caused in any way.

PATHETIC!

Hi. This solution did not work. Never saw the smiley face.  I left my Charge 3 plugged in and walked away.  A few days later I heard it buzz. I picked it up and the screen was working again but it had the wrong time.  Eventually the time synced.  Still no idea regarding cause of blanks screen or exactly what fixed it.

I'm pretty oriented, even if nobody tells us, to a bunch of defective batteries. Anyway, over two weeks now, and I'm still waiting to finally get a working charge 3 back :-(((

Hello

 

My fit bit Charge 3 does not change screens. I have tried everything you have asked us to do and screen does not change. It is only a month and week old.

 

So I was wondering can I return to Best buy Canada where I brought it from and have it replaced with a new one?

Or do I have to wait a long time for one to be sent from you guys?
