Charge 3 won't turn on

hi, i just bought charge 3, and it can't be turn on. when i plug to the charger, it's only vibrate, i try to restart it, i pressed for 8 seconds then the smiling face comes up but then it shut down again.

Sounds like a faulty battery but before you call customer service try
changing the clock face then charge it fully. If this still doesn't work
try customer service. When I called with my issue having tried everything
listed they were very happy that i had tried all the trouble shooting items
before calling and sent me a new fitbit. Best of luck to you 🙂

I have tried everything that has been mentioned to try and my Charge 3 will not come on.  It went out while I was trying to sync it to my phone and it went black and hasn't worked sense.  So very disappointed.  I will never buy another at this point.  Only had it for 2 years.  I got it just for my walking at my age don't do much more.  I will get apple at this point unless it starts to work.  Have it back on the charger again day 3 of trying.  We will see what happens.

Thabks for your response. I have been through the forums, changed clock face, etc but the issue persists.

 

I purchased this from Harvey Norman and they basically charged it, resynched but the problem occurred again later that day.

It won’t even vibrate when I plug it in anymore. It was 100% yesterday. Plugged it in an hour ago. It vibrates and said it was only at 6%. Went to out it back on, and nothing. Literally nothing. Soooo... now what?

I reached out to customer service and they replaced the Fitbit. I hope the
make it right for you too!!

Hello,

I have tried everything online on this.

Resynching using a trial app from my phone worked for an hour or so and the
phones battery again appeared to show the battery gone. The phone app could
not connect to the watch.

I have dropped this into Currys twice and they have stated that this is an
issue with incompatibility to my samsung galaxy note 8. This is a premium
phone from one of the main android manufacturers.

The device is clearly faulty but unfortunately currys were unwilling to
admit this or sent it for repair.

Get in touch with fitbit my charge 3 has broken 3 times now.Fitbit have
changed it each time without any cost.

I agree with contacting Fitbit. Their customer service is awesome and they
will get you set forsure!

FitBits customer service is top notch!! Contact them and tell them what
all you have done to try to reset your device. They will take excellent
care of you!! 🙂

My Fitbit charge 3 will not turn on. It vibrates but doesn’t do anything else.

I've done the long restart,  but my Charge 3 is still not coming on.  It was working earlier and turned off suddenly.   Are there any other ways to get this resolved?

Hi. My fitbit charge 3 showes the smiley face then goes off. I have it on charge but its not coming on!  What can I do now.

Hey!!! I need help with my Fitbit and yesterday it's already charge and it's keep going repeating like on off which is going to sleep or I so from yesterday it's always been on all-day so now this morning it's been off and I need really need help how to turn it on this morning thanks

I followed these instructions. Fit Bit only vibrates. No smiley face  and won't turn on

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing the details of the issue with your device. I appreciate your troubleshooting efforts and would like to confirm if you've tried the following:

 

  1. Restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Change a clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  3. Long restart:  
  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
