Charge 3 won't turn on

My Charge 3 is not working at all. I have tried:

1. charging it both through a computer and through a wall socket.

2. followed these steps

  1. hold for 8/15 seconds while it vibrates and is on the charger and plugged in
  2. take it off the charger
  3. place it back on the charger
  4. no smiley face or charge icon appears

3. syncing it to change/update the clock face (device no longer recognized)

 

Is my product just bricked and I'm out $150?
