Charge 3 won't turn on

One of the reasons that I purchased my Charge 3 was that feature that allowed it to be submerged. Last summer, I wore it in the pool several times with no issues. But earlier this week, I submerged for perhaps 5 or 10 seconds, wiped it off afterward, but within a few minutes it became unresponsive. Now when I plug it into the charged, there is no response.  Help!
