It has a black screen, button won’t respond, phone app doesn’t recognize it.

Hi @mizzmezzo, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since the screen is black and the phone's app won't recognize it.
I would like to know if your Charge 3 vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your tracker for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life and your phone's app recognizes it.
