Hi!
It’s been a few years since I last used my Charge 3 but I recently decided to wear it again. Lost my charger so I bought a new one. After connecting it to the charger it showed a smiley face and turned on; it’s displaying old info, probably from the last day I wore it a few years ago. Says the wrong date and showing the wrong time etc. It’s also showing that my battery is 1% and I see a small dot blinking in the battery icon. It’s been on the charger for almost 2 hours and the battery is still 1% and the device turns off as soon as I remove the charger.
I tried resetting it completely by holding the side button after putting it on charge but then I get a horizontal line that gets longer until it’s all across the screen and vibrates every time the line gets longer. Left it like for 30 minutes that to see if anything happens but it doesn’t do anything and just shows a horizontal line. And the device will once again turn off as soon as a I remove the charger.
I redownloaded the Fitbit app and removed my Charge 3 from the app, hoping it will somehow reset itself. Did nothing. Then tried to set up a new device connection, it finds my Charge 3 through Bluetooth almost instantly and shows a big green check mark. Then the app tries to connect to my Charge 3 but nothing happens, it keeps on trying to connect until it gives an error a couple minutes later.
Does anyone have any ideas on what’s going on? How do I fix this?

Hello @ladyytanja and welcome to the Community. All rechargeable batteries can degrade, even in storage. No battery percentage change in two hours suggests your battery is dead. Sorry.
