Charge 3 wristband and sleep score issues

I've been a Fitbit customer for years. I started with a Flex, then to a Charge, which is still working but the band has been glued together too many times. I thought I'd treat myself to the Charge 3. What a mistake! This is so uncomfortable.

I've put the band on my wrist per the instructions, however, the tracker portion keeps sliding around so that its sideways on my wrist. I tried to adjust the fitting so that it's not too lose or too tight. After a few hours one side of the strap came undone. I put it back together but the tracker portion keeps creeping to the side of my wrist. Definitely my last purchase with Fitbit.

My previous Fitbit trackers were so comfortable I would forget they were even on. This one I have to fiddle around with it constantly and I can definitely feel it's there-probably a good thing in case the band snaps off again. Instead of getting more features with an upgrade I gave up what I started using Fitbit for, tracking my steps.

I do like the dashboard portion that tracks my food. Being on a keto diet, it's nice to see how what I'm eating works into my macros. Reading some of the responses in this forum, am I supposed to be getting a sleep score? Nice feature, wish I had it. However, being older, I've found that less is more and it looks like Fitbit is trying to do it all and falling short on the reason it started in the first place, to be a tracker.

Welcome to the Community, @elle1962.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the feedback provided about the Charge 3. In regards to the wristband, I recommend taking a look at the help article: How do I change the wristband on my Fitbit device? and make sure you are following those steps in order to put on your band.

Now about sleep score, you must see sleep stages to see a sleep score. For more information, see the article: What should I know about sleep stages?

If you see sleep stages but don’t see a sleep score:

  • Note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear.
  • Update the Fitbit app to the latest version. For instructions, see About the Fitbit app.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂
