Charge 3 wristband chafes after first night

I just switched the wrist that I wear my Charge 3 on because after wearing it for a single night, my wrist is itchy. I didn't have this problem with the Inspire. I know it says you can (or is it should?) wear them loosely during the day but when I did that it said I had a lower heart rate; I don't want it to take bad data. Not sure what do.

Hi @gtipley - You can always try a band of a different material. Maybe that will help? I know I cannot comfortably wear the silicone bands but have no problem with the leather ones. Fitbit sells them. So do third party sellers, such as Amazon.

I look your suggestion and ordered a leather watchband from Amazon but my irritated skin hasn't cleared up yet after wearing that for most of a day. Any suggestions for treating that?

 

I've never had that experience from a silicon watchband and I used to wear Timex Ironman watches with a silicon band as a kid every day. It's been over a year since I've regularly worn anything on my wrists though. I had basically become a "phone as pocketwatch" person.
