I received the new charge 3 last week.  The white band keeps coming unhook by the Charge.  It keeps falling off.  One of these time I am not going to notice it and I will loose it.  What do I do?

I received Charge 3 for Xmas and changed band to large size.  I started to wear it 2 days ago and strap has detached from main unit 5-6 times already.   It’s very frustrating because I like the features.

I had a Charge 2 for 12 months and then the same problem happened with strap detaching.  I did loose it in July in Dallas airport.

I had been looking forward to my Charge 3 but am now seriously considering returning and purchasing a product from different vendor.

its only been 2 days and it’s failing...sad and frustrating!!

My Charge 3 wristband keeps falling off when it detaches from the device itself. I have tried adjusting the screw inside the latch as suggested on another forum, but it isn't helping. I purchased it about 6 months ago and am disappointed in the lack of quality in the wristband. Do some types work better than others?

I have the elastomer type.

Thanks!

So I am soooo disappointed. I treated myself to a Charge 3 for my birthday and excitedly unboxed it and started wearing it today. At some point the wrist strap (larger size) came loose but I reattached it and kept wearing it. In the evening I was out and suddenly noticed there was no Fitbit on my wrist. Fortunately, after arriving home some hours later, the Fitbit was on the ground outside my house, having fallen off as the wristband had detached. Had it come loose and fallen anywhere else, I might never have found it. I am now nervous about wearing it as there does not seem to be any way to secure the strap and am wondering if it's not jut a big waste of money as the wristband design seems rather stupid. Can someone provide a solution for this?

When I changed my strap the side with the holes detached easily when I pressed the little black button but the side with the buckle would not depress or release with just finger pressure.  I used a very narrow metal ruler to press the button, the strap released but the new strap would not click into place.  I noticed the black button was lower than the other button so I gently lifted it until the new strap clicked in place.  This operation can be done with a metal nail file or a small flat head screwdriver.  Now, if the new strap holds will remain to be seen.  NOTE to Fitbit:  "Little" problems like this is a really good way to send your customers to your competition.

Hello. I have been having the same problem with my charge 3. One of the straps doesn't click onto the watch part but the other side does and it keeps coming loose. Thanks.
