I just tried to replace my Charge 3 band. It does not stay on at all. This is the spare band that came with the Fitbit and it's the first time I've changed bands. What the heck??

For shame, Fitbit. You make a product that, once one tries to replace the band, is no longer functional. My fitbit is perfectly operational, yet without a band, i cannot use it, and since it's older than 1 year, i have to buy a new one. You should do better.

What did customer support say @Jknightly ? You know, it's possible to carry the pebble part in a pouch and still track your steps.

customer support said since i was out of warranty, tough luck. of course i know i can carry it in my pocket, but that is not what i want. I need a watch and i don't need to think about moving it from short to pants to whatever. They should have given me a new fitbit since it's clearly a manufacturing defect.

Hi @Jknightly, welcome to the forums. @Odyssey13, thanks for stopping by and helping our member.
@Jknightly, thanks for sharing that the Charge 3 wristband doesn't stay on, and for contacting our Support team. I see where you're coming from and I'm sorry that you're going through this situation. Our team often reviews the Community Forums to gather the feedback shared by our members as that helps us to continue working and improving our products. Be sure that your comments won't be the exception. As you know, our warranty covers our products and accessories for 1 year from the purchase date, and my best suggestion is to check our Fitbit store or the authorized retailers to get a new band per separate.
I'll be around if you have another question.
