I have reached out to Fitbit several times about getting a replacement for my broken Fitbit. It only broke due to a design flaw so you would think Fitbit would replace it. I am frustrated and disappointed that Fitbit would treat its customers with little respect. I was shoot until my Fitbit broke and have been patient through the process of trying to replace my Fitbit. I feel like I am in a laundry machine getting nowhere. Has anyone else have a broken band connector? Did they replace your Fitbit?

Agree! I love Fitbit but they will lose a loyal customer if this problem
isn’t resolved --

Is the charge 5 better? Did they fix that design flaw from the 4?

If they had confidence the problem with the Charge 4 was solved, they would offer a full new warranty on the replacement, as if it were a new purchase. They don't. If they had respect for their customers and were confident the problem would not recur with the Charge 5, they would offer a Charge 5 with a full warranty at no cost. They don't. This is NOT a company to do business with long term. Though the $13 Amazon band solution seems to working fine, I am looking at the Apple Watch options, just so I don't have to deal with them.

After the Charge 4 mess, I bought the Charge 5. It wouldn’t sync after I had synced before. I was frustrated by FitBit, so started looking at Apple Watch 7. I got lucky with price just before Amazon Prime Days. I’m so glad I got the Apple Watch 7!

Mine broke off this morning. I’m so disappointed. I haven’t read through everything yet. Does it seem like Fitbit won’t replace them ? I bought mine through Costco, they have a good warranty at least but Fitbit should make this a recall.

Contact customer support. If it’s been within a year of purchase they should send you a replacement. If you have to, insist on talking to a supervisor.

I had the same problem. This was my 4th Fitbit. Threw it in the drawer. Not buying another one, done with them.

Yes, the same problem will happen with the Fitbit Charge 4. It happened to my Fitbit Charge 4 tonight.

Just as I’m about to go on vacation, mine is about to break, again! The first time it was replaced through the warranty. Obviously a design flaw here with so many problems. Does not make me feel good about the Fitbit brand quality.

This is the 2nd time mine broke at the same spot. They did not replace it. They offered a discount on a new one. The first time it happened, I bought a new one. This time, I think I may try a different company.

Mine broke while in the garage Couldn't find one piece, it's out of warranty. I've had 4 of and all had various problems and had to buy a new one. It is now in my junk drawer. Time to try out Apple. They really should start to replace them even if out of warranty. This is a design flaw.
