Charge 4 - Black screen, vibrates when button is pressed, not detectable on Bluetooth

Woke up today to a black face on my Charge 4.  I depressed the side button and it vibrates, but I have zero display.  I attempted to sync it with the app, and the app is unable to detect it.  I also checked bluetooth on my iphone, it stated that my Fitbit was not connected.  I removed it from Bluetooth in order to reconnect, and now it's totally undetectable by my phone as well.  I have restarted via the instructions given online with no success.  I have removed and re-installed the Fitbit app as well.  Now my app is showing that I have no device at all, and I am now unable to even get my app recognize the device due to the fact that it is not connected to Bluetooth.  I have run out of options and extremely frustrated.  I have not had any previous issues with this particular device, and was very happy with it's performance until yesterday.  I don't shower with it on, I avoid getting it wet, and have been doing my best to keep in good working condition.  I have not updated the device as suggested on the app, mainly because the last update I ran on my previous device literally killed it overnight, and I was hoping to avoid that type of problem.  Any suggestions?  Anyone else experience this problem?  How can I rectify this?  Thanks.

I’m hoping for an answer! Mine has just done this! I did however go swimming, but have done before!

I literally only just sweated with mine on. If the device can’t handle sweat what’s the point of having one? My first Charge 4 lasted only six weeks before it abruptly died. Fitbit sent me a replacement Aug. 24 of last year. The rep I chatted with last night said it’s out of warranty now, and I have only been offered a coupon on the purchase of another. That’s ridiculous.
