Charge 4 Display turns on by tapping hard.

When I first got this fitbit I could read the time/date whenever I lifted my arm. Now I have to tap it really hard to get it to light up ??? I see no info about settings , so wth ?

Please hold the button of the Charge 4 for 3 seconds. You'll see the Quick Settings. 

Please make sure that the Don't Disturb and Sleep mode are off. Also the Wake Display option should be on 

To change the settings just tap on it.

Thanks for the tips, have done all that however it still doesn't work ! I
have to physically tap on the watch face 5 times to see what time it is.
Have had this Charge for months & never adjusted the sleep or do not
disturb, so I guess it's trying to tell me it's done !

It was the "Stay Awake" feature. I couldn't find it yesterday,  but discovered it today. Literally, the light bulb came on !

I got my charge 4 just before I started a 12k step a day challenge for charity in November so have had it for less than 4 months. 
i took it off yesterday and the strap broke at the fastener making it unwearable. I don’t know if I have warranty but don’t think so. Can it be fixed?

I don't know about strap warranty, but I ordered several different Charge 4 wristbands so I can interchange them. Currently have a dozen. You can order from Fitbit or Amazon .
