Hi all,
My fitbit charge 4 has been problematic from the start, as it keeps informing me it is not tracking GPS on most of my runs. Which is the feature which made me upgrade from the charge 3. Moreover, whenever I workout with friends their activity trackers (which are also fitbit charge 4) track a lot more km and are consistent with eachother, whereas mine can be up to 2K off on a 10K run. So basically all the features I bought the device for (athletic performance and progress & gps) are not working. Is anyone else experiencing this as well?

Hi there @Dara1994, it's good to see you around in the Community.
I appreciate the information shared.
Environmental factors including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and thick cloud cover can interfere with your tracker's ability to connect to GPS satellites. If your tracker is searching for a GPS signal during an exercise, you’ll see “ connecting” appear at the top of the screen. If Charge 4 can't connect to a GPS satellite, the tracker stops trying to connect until the next time you start a GPS exercise. For best results, wait for Charge 4 to find the signal before you start your workout.

Have a good one.

You do realize that your answer does not apply to my situation? Please do not blame it on environment if other charge 4 devices manage to track the GPS for the same runs and show consistency in distance to each other, while mine is lacking behind.

Well I would love to but there is no email adress, no chat box, or chat bot, no phone number, and I do not have a twitter account: so how would you like me to get in touch with the support team?
Have a good one.
