After the latest firmware update (100.76), I can't find where to turn off heart rate zone notifications. It's pretty annoying getting that buzz when I change heart rate zones.
You used to be able to turn it off on the device per exercise, but it looks like that option is now greyed out. It's really hard to read, but I think it says that zone notifications are disabled in the Settings app. If that's the case, then why am I still getting them?
I really hoped getting bought by Google would straighten you guys out, but that hasn't seemed to happen yet. I don't want to go to Garmin or Apple Watch, but I might not have a choice pretty soon. All these annoying issues are getting to be too much.

@ScottB372 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and efforts.
Did you verified that the notifications are off on all the activities on the Exercise app on the Charge 4? Or just in some?
Maybe you have turned them off for walking, but not running and your Charge 4 recognizes your activity as Running?
Have you tried the steps here? Can I turn zone notifications on or off on my Fitbit device?
Did you already restarted the Charge 4?How do I restart my Fitbit device?
See you around.

In the Settings app, I have Active Zone Minutes notifications turned off. In the individual exercises the option to change that is greyed out. But I'm still getting those notifications.
And I rarely, if ever, use exercise recognition. I always select the exercise I want to log.

I’m having the same exact issue. So annoying! I’m hoping there is a fix that allows the zone notification to be turned off.

@TFenton , Thank you for joining us here and your report.
@ScottB372 Thank you for your reply and further information.
To both of you: Do you see the option grayed out on all activities or just on some specifically?
Could you attach a picture of the option grayed out so that our team can have a closer look at this?
See you around

It is greyed out on all activities for which zone notification is available. I have "Weights" selected as one of my activities, and it doesn't appear to be an option there.
I currently have zone notification off in settings:
In an exercise (Walk for example), the option to change the zone notification is greyed out and I can't change it (the picture doesn't really do it justice because of the lighting):
But I'm still getting notifications. I would expect that if I turned it off in Settings I wouldn't get notifications at all. I don't even mind this behavior visually if it actually worked that way. I would also expect that I could turn notifications on in Settings and set it per exercise how I want to. And maybe I should try that, but if there's a global setting (which there is) it should work.
Things like this, and this isn't the first thing, make me really wonder what kind of software testing you guys do. Something like this should be obvious if it was unit tested. I'm a pretty loyal Google guy... heck, I even have a Fi subscription. But these things, and this isn't the first issue I've had with Fitbit and software testing, make me wonder if I should try something else.

@ScottB372 , Thank you for your reply, pictures and feedback.
In this case, please try the following.
Restart the Charge 4.
On the Quick settings, tap on the Don't Disturb feature to turn it on.
Press the button to return to the main clock face.
Deactivate Don't Disturb again.
Try changing the Notifications settings on the activity and start it.
Hope this improves the situation.
See you around.
