Users who own a Fitbit Charge 4, can I please have your reviews and thoughts on the device. I'm torn between the Charge 4 and Inspire 2, but leaning towards the Charge 4.

I loved my Charge 4, unfortunately, based on it's short life span because of major defects,( not holding a charge, dim screen outside, screen totally blank, parts that attach to the band breaking) inI would not recommend it to anyone. Search the comments in the product Forums before deciding. If you do decide on a Fitbit invest in the extended warranty because most problems seem to start just before or right after the one year warranty ends. I have loved all the past Fitbits that I have owned and have always replaced them because I upgraded not because of a defective device until the Charge 4. I am waiting for awhile before I invest on another device. Good luck in choosing.

hey there. I have had one for about... maybe 1.5 years or so....give or take. I think these are great devices. They absolutely can play a big role in healthier living. That being said I am not a huge fan of THIS watch. Number one, even the 'mens' version is way too small. Also it is monochromatic. The choices for customizable like face are very limited. The band smelled SO BAD from wearing it I had to buy another one, a better one with holes in it. I am hygienic, not stinky. The watch will drive you as crazy as you let it. At first, I had beeps and buzzers and notifications going off CONSTANTLY. I shut all that off. It also doesn't always register the movement when you lift your arm to look at the time. SO, its blank. THAT is a deal breaker for me. I played with the settings but...can't fix it. I am not pressing a button to see the time. I work in construction so my hands are usually filthy, so I was having to touch it with my nose. No way...too much to ask. It does have good stuff thouugh. I liked seeing calories burned and steps taken and stairs taken. I wish it had the blood oxygen meter. SO...try another level up in price maybe>? Good luck! At the end of the day, even this watch is wonderful for positive reinforcement as you try and live healthier. I assume they are cheap now too so...it isn't a bad buy....get it on sale and you'll get some cool info as well as a website with a LOT of good metrics.

I agree my second charge 4 has just died, all the queries regarding fading unreadable screen, no vibration and not connecting over the past frw days match my watches symptoms. They have a lifespan of 12-20 months, not good value for me. Shame as good when they work properly. Not sure what to get to replace now.
