Charge 4 SP02 monitoring and measuring

So, I purchased the Charge 4 (just got 2 days ago) because it had a better offering of a clock face than the Charge 5 IMO (sorry those in color, crazy arrangements of numbers, figures... just not needed for me) but I also specifically purchased the Charge 4 for it's ability to track and monitor my SP04 blood oxygen numbers.

I googled a number of times on how to get access to the SP02 function... pretty much all said ... tap fitbit today icon; then profile face icon; the device, then gallery, click on magnifying glass (which I do not have or given an option to do) then apps ... click on SP02w app and follow instructions to download  ... that's it

So I call the 24/7 fitbit number after not seeing any of the above options and am told this SP02 ability is running/uploading in the background and should be available within about 48 hours on my Charge 4 ?

What have others encountered with trying to upload/download the SP02 app/program ?

Will I just need to go back through steps in 2nd para above ?

Will I just check on my iphone the Health Metrics and it will be there to view ?

Lastly, will it be visible on my Charge 4 screen by scrolling through and find it or will I have to change clock faces to view ?   If so, which watch face ?

Lots of questions and concerns for me on this ... so I appreciate y'alls help and info

Thanks

David

@DavidSOGA , Nice to see you here. Thank you for your message and information and for taking the time to contact Support.

If you don't see the SPO2 app available on the app folder in the Fitbit app, it could mean, that you already have it installed. Fitbit SpO2 app is automatically added for users in select countries.

Please keep in mind that the SPO2 will only be tracked  while you sleep.

  1. Wear your Fitbit device to bed. Wear your device securely so that the back of your device is in contact with your skin.
  2. In the morning, swipe up from the clock face. See your average resting SpO2 level on the SpO2 tile.

It may take around an hour for your SpO2 values to appear after you wake up. The SpO2 tile shows data for your most recent sleep session. If your sleep session is split into 2 separate logs or you take a long nap, the tile updates to show data for the most recent sleep session.

At this time there is not a clock face for the Charge 4 that will show you the SpO2 measurements.
