Charge 4 Vibrates but screen doesn’t wake

Hiya, I’ve had my charge 4 for about a year and a half and recently it slowed down responding to being turned on and finally the screen wouldn’t turn on at all. When i press the side button, it will vibrate but the screen doesn’t come on. I have tried fully charging it to no avail. It is still syncing with the app, but won’t turn on or receive notifications.

@Chmitty If you've tried restarting/resetting and changing the clock face and it still isn't working, then I would suggest you contact Customer Support for further assistance.

I’ve had exactly the same, did you manage to fix it ?

Same. I have a total black screen but the green light works and I can feel it vibrate. They told me to update it, restart it (wait for the smile which I couldn’t see but it vibrated to show it restarted), change the clock face (again can’t see but the app indicated it worked and I felt it vibrate). Nothing worked.

I had the same today.

I fixed it by doing an update on the app (Google play store), then changing the clock face whilst charging. It then suddenly it came back to life after being a black screen since 8pm yesterday !

I have been having similar problems and usually have a total dark screen.  I have discovered that I can adjust my eyesight to darkened and then go into a very dark closet and read an incredibly dim screen. Next i scroll to settings and set brightness to normal.  This brightness level lets me read screen.  This lasts a few days to a couple of weeks.  The screen brightness is less than half what my wife gets on her identical charge 4.  at all times charge 4 syncs properly with my phone.
