The band connector of my charge 4 is broken. I try to glue It and it did not work. I am very dissatisfied with a 35% discount been offered to buy a new device and it was given to me only 30 days to do so. As a senior citizen with a fixed income I am not able to spare money within the time frame. There is not reason why they do that with the vulnerable people. Any good advice?

I've used JB Super Weld in the white squeeze bottle successfully to affix the band to the pebble. I lost the broken off plastic part so I don't know if it'll put that part back on for you, but if that got lost when it broke, the band can be welded directly onto the pebble. So far so good. It does mean you can't really change the band easily, but it dried within half an hour (though I'd wait a full 12 if you can).

You are far from alone with this problem. Also see this thread (among others):
