I'm trying to set up a new charge 4 but it isn't syncing (although it syncs on my iPhone) and it doesn't show clock when I lift my wrist. Is this a dude charge 4

Probably have 'Screen Wake' turned off.  If not that, could be in 'Sleep Mode'.  Can check both in 'Quick Settings' by holding in side button a few seconds, then scrolling down.

Yes, I am a dude, but not a young one.  🤣

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
