Charge 4 broken band connector.
I thought this would be a temporary fix to attach my broken band but it is now permanent. Scotch transparent tape! It is exactly the same width as watch face. Take about a 3 in. piece, try not touch the sticky side of tape that you will apply to the face, it will show smudges. Place on face first and make sure to center it and push out the bubbles. The remaining tape, I had about 1 in. on the top & bottom of watch I cut to about 1/2 in and taped it to the watch band. You can adjust that tape for a tighter fix. I used the original band that came with the watch. It is plastic and smooth. It is very secure and I can't hardly see the tape. I'm in no hurry to replace this fitbit.

I recently had my Charge 4 knocked off my wrist as a result of the band breaking from the the device attachment. Initially I just placed the Charge 4 with the broken bands around my ankle in my sock - that resulted in the Android app getting all the data so it was helpful. Then when I got home I used strong super glue to attach the broken band to the device and it's working well now. I am concerned that any more problems might result in needing a new device - the collected basic data has been helpful for years, I'm 72 and have been using a Fitbit since they were first created.
