Device: Charge 4
Started exercise mode and now can't stop it. Double-tap of the side button to bring up the pause/start/stop does not help. Nor does trying to do a reboot of the device.
Connected to the charger as instructed and held the button for 8-10 seconds. Nothing
It's been stuck for over a day. Just keeps counting minutes. Nothing in the exercise menus does anything to stop this.
Not sure what the last device update was, but it applied sometime last week 9/26 - 9/30

Hello @RowGuy
I hope I can help. During the exercise that you want to end, while your on the timer screen just double tap the side button to bring up the pause or finish screen.
I hope this provides you the best answer to your question. Please let me know.

Hi MegaBite,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I already tried that.
At the Timer screen, where it shows the miles at the top, a mall round clock dial, one counting timer and then another below it.
A "quick" double-tap on that screen, with a vibration, does nothing.
Holding the button on that screen brings up the DND, Sleep and Screen Wake options.
I've tried the "double tap" with vibration, on every screen available and none of them will show the pause or finish screen.
I'm hoping that once it runs out of power it will reset, but other than that, it's useless right now.

Just to update this .. The FitBit Charge 4 finally ran out of power and shut off.
I plugged it in and let it charge overnight and it is now working normally again.
Needless to say I won't be using any of the "Exercise modes" again and just letting it autodetect activity instead.
Hope a future firmware update will correct this bug instead of leaving it useless until it runs out of power.
