hi, has anybody experience with the charge 4 charging cable having issues? i have tested on various power points and heads which works with charging my other devices with other cables. my charge 4 is currently 3 months old - my cable is usually plugged in to one of the power sockets. and i last charged it 6 days ago. i generally will only charge once i get the low battery notification.

Hi, @soffiethang, what issue are you experiencing with your charging ?
Just FYI while it is okay only to charge your Fitbit once you get the low battery notification, you will get the longest overall battery life and charge cycles from your rechargeable batteries if you avoid, as much as possible, deep discharges. Charging little and often is best, and ideally your battery charge level should be kept between 20-80 %.

Welcome to the Community, @SunsetRunner and @Odyssey13, thanks for the input.
I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Versa 3 board to the Other Versa Smartwatches board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about this watch.
Now about your broken screen, I've gone ahead and escalated your case to our support team, for them to take a deeper look at this. Please keep an eye on your inbox for further instructions.
In the meantime, let me know if you need anything else.

i have done it all and today i popped over to borrow my neighbour’s cable and i was able to charge my fitbit with no issues. hence concluded that it’s the charge cable. saw it had scratches on it likely it dropped off when we were moving workstations/spaces within our house.

Hello. I am also having a problem with my charging cord, or more accurately, the clip of the cord. A few weeks ago, because my Charge 4 broke in less than a year, the company provided me with a new one. But not a charge cord. So I have been using the old charge cord, and from the beginning it was clear that the clip did not fit perfectly on the unit, so I had to jiggle and adjust it to get the 'charging' screen. Now jiggling and adjusting does not work. The clip does not seem to fit or be designed for this Charge 4. It's just a little off. Anything I can do?
Thanks.
Julia

Hi, @JuliaGagne , depending on how old the original charging cable is, you could get in touch with Fitbit Customer Service on Contact.Fitbit.com . However, if the original is out of guarantee, and you did not previously report it, you will probably need to purchase a replacement charger. These are available directly from the Fitbit Store (not in retail shops). You may be able to buy one more cheaply from a third party seller online, but I would strongly recommend against this, as I have heard many stories of such chargers either not working at all or causing damage to your Fitbit - or even worse!

Thanks, Julia. The charging cord is less than a year old, but it's probably easier to just buy a new one.

Yes, my Charge 4 charger will not charge my Fitbit, and I can not use my watch!! Have watched the the video, read the instructions, etc. I'm about
to throw it away, and buy another watch. I used my previous Fitbit with no problems
