Charge 4 connection band broke

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So after about 1-1/2 years the connection for the wrist band on one side of my Charge 4 BROKE....

Seriously -- that is design flaw!!! That should be metal and NOT plastic. Did they ever hear that plastic has higher propensity to break than metal??

So after being told that I am 'out of warranty' they have to gall to offer me -- 35% (WOW really be-still-my heart) discount on my next FULL PRICE purchase of a new unit. OMG ... say it isn't so. How could I possibly resist spending more money on defective merchandise -- as I can bet that if you look at the Charge 5 (which I don't need the color crap) it is plastic connection too.

Fitbit is not viable company to do business with!!!! Don't purchase from them as they will not stand behind the design defect.

@sdemcak65  as long as the Fitbit still works, why not do as many others have done. They purchase a protective cover band from Amazon. It holds the pebble portion in a uniquely styled band and it protects it. This at least would allow you to continue to use your Charge 4.

Same problem here.  I was able to repair mine.  Search "Broken strap connector: Successfully repaired! DIY"
