I have been wearing a Fitbit device almost constantly for many years and never had this problem. I recently bought a Charge 4 to be able to track health metrics. Anyway, the app is constantly telling me it has lost Bluetooth pairing and must be re-paired, all day, everyday, never updates without that message popping up on my device whether it be my iPad or my iPhone. This is a totally new issue I have never seen with any other Fitbit I have owned and used. It makes no difference how many times i re-pair, it never fixes the problem. I expected the Charge 4 to be better than the Charge 3 but functioning wise, it has not proven to be the case, thus far. I hope that changes for the better soon or I’m going to return it.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MardiMom.
Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling about this situation and recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?
If you're using several devices for syncing, the tracker is trying to connect to both and the Bluetooth connection can be interfered. Check if having another device not nearby or turning off Bluetooth on it helps. You can find our complete tips to resolve the syncing issue in Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Hope this helps.

Happens to me ALL THE TIME!!! When I open the app to synch I’m actually surprised when i DON’T see the Lost Pairing window pop up. And yes, my Fitbit and iPhone have the latest software

I am having exactly the same issue - repeatedly loses pairing multiple times per day - every day since I received this Fitbit Charge 4 in Christmas 2021. Every single morning I have to go to Bluetooth settings, forget device, reconnect, and then open Fitbit app and re-pair. I have to do this also with my ipad, as well as my iphone. It is ridiculous... ready to throw it in the trash and switch to applewatch even though I got this as a gift for Christmas 2021 from my husband. I've had Fitbits for years, but need better advice than the ridiculous suggestion about removing other "bluetooth" devices which might be interfering. As of now May 2022, this is still an issue for me. Very frustrated and annoyed.

I have the same issue. I was disappointed when my Charge 2 would loose it’s connection a couple times a week, but my new Charge 4 looses its connection 5 minutes after syncing EVERY TIME, EVERY DAY, regardless if there are any other devices nearby, wether their Bluetooth is on or off, regardless of how many times I have gone through the list of things to try to resolve this issue. It happens with my iPhone and it happens with my tablet. FITBIT needs to find a solution to this very real problem other than to forget the device over and over and over ……..
