Charge 4 doesn't connect to phone GPS - suspected daylight saving issue

Hi all,

 

My Charge 4 won't connect to my iPhone's GPS, meaning I have to use the watch's GPS and limit my activities around constant charging. It says "Connecting" on the watch and nothing happens however long I leave it.   

 

This happened last March and September, when I lost connection for around a month before it miraculously came back.  The link to daylight saving can't be a coincidence as it's happened three times now (every time since I've owned the watch), is there something I need to do on my iPhone settings to rectify this or is it a Fitbit software issue? 

 

I'm in the UK and we've not had daylight saving yet but I understand it has happened in the US, so maybe that's the issue?  Whatever it is needs fixing as it's extremely annoying!  Can anyone advise please?

I was hoping someone from the Fitbit tech team might have responded, or have I misunderstood the purpose of this forum?

 

if so, can anyone advise on how to report technical problems please.
