Is there a reset solution for this? My Charge 4 only shows the time when the side button is pushed, not when I swing my arm up or tap the face.

You probably have Screen Wake off or are in Sleep Mode.  Check both in Quick Settings by holding in side button a few seconds.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
