Hi - 

My Charge 4 has just told me there's an update available - so I thought I'd quickly check this site first to see what exciting new features & goodies they've added in for us ...

Unfortunately it seems a catalogue of woe and draining batteries - so for now I guess I should skip?

Concerningly there's no detail on the Fitbit changelog pages of changes made - no information of use whatsoever or detai.

Worse still there's no answer or acknowledgement to folks questions about battery life.

For now I'm guessing that I should ignore the upgrade and will advise friends & family to as well - can this be done indefinitely or will it force me at some point??

 

@Fitbit support - can you please comment with some precise technical information:

1. What's in the change? - please tell us the specific new features/functionality - there's no info anywhere.

2. There's a chorus of people with battery draining issues - is there going to be a fix? Should i wait for a new release? Is this just a ploy to push us to buy new hardware?

You were smart to look, I was not. My battery now drains in about 2 hours instead of 7 days. Do not update, unless you are ready to go to another brand device today.
