Charge 4 has developed lines across the screen

this is my 3rd Fitbit over the years. In year two of each the led screen develops lines so I can no longer read my steps. I have rebooted several times and changed the clock face but you still can’t read the screen. Are these intended to be disposable watches in year two? Currently have charge 4.
