Charge 4 has stopped tracking walks

Over last few days I start tracking a walk and later notice it has gone back to clock face and has stopped tracking altogether. Worked ok for workout this evening.

Could you pelase confirm if the you start the recording by yourself or do you let your walk be autorecognized?

Does this happens just with walking or with other activities?

In the meantime, please restart your Charge 4

Thank you for your reply. I can confirm I start the tracking myself under
Exercise/walk. Now you mention it though it isn't recognising when i just
go on a walk without telling it. The steps are recorded but it has stopped
logging a walk

@Bazdot , Thank you for your reply and further information. 

Please on your Fitbit app :

• Tap the Today tab, then tap the Exercise tile 
• Tap the gear icon in the top right.
• Tap an exercise, and adjust the duration or turn off Auto-recognize.
• Sync your Charge 4 and then turn on  Auto-recognize.
• And don;t forget to sync
