My Fitbit has stopped. It hasn’t lost charge but there is no display. It won’t restart but there is a buzzing noise when trying to do this. There are no lights on the underside. It is 19 months old. Assistance appreciated thanks

The same thing happened to me last year, a few months after I purchased it. They sent another pebble and after deactivating the defective one, I tried unsuccessfully to activate the replacement. It would not start!! I was then "between the devil and the deep blue sea"...no Fitbit at all for neither was working. At least I could use my phone to get information from the first Fitbit so I reactivated it in order to see my steps and contacted Fitbit. If course, they told me my problem with the new one was because I still had the original device activated. I explained that It was deactivated when I tried installing the new one which did not display either. They suggested I clean dust off the battery connection of the new one which came out of a sealed package as well as as other insignificant actions which were not working. Each time I communicated with them I got a different person who told me the same action as a previous one which dud not work. I told them I had done what I was told repeatedly with the same negative results. After a few days passed, I got an email saying they had closed my case because I did not respond...which I had done repeatedly with the same results.
I kept the Fitbit only because I could see my number of steps...all other functions were not registering. Last week, suddenly, my display started working with a very bright glow....brighter that it did when I first purchased it!! The tilt function, and tap function worked perfectly!!
But.....unfortunately, it does not keep the charge! It was too good to be true. A 100% charge is depleted in a few hours. It doesn't even last half of a day. I am in need if a new tracker and am considering ditching Fitbit all together for a device that is reliable and not fraught with electronic or wrist band problems. Oh, did I not mention that the wrist band broke at the buckle connection? I purchased a replacement from Amazon and it was after the replacement that my display returned to normal..
