UPDATE:

it got back to normal after I deleted the automatically detected (and incorrectly counted) walk today morning. Could it be that the device is overheating (we have a terrible heat wave in Spain) and thus producing incorrect data?

Hi,

after struggling for several months (sic!) with incorrect food tracking by the android app which was solved just a week ago or so, now I got a new issue.

Suddenly, the calories burned went crazy high for today and changed in for the previous 3 days! (see picture below).

The values for Saturday should be around 3.3k, for Sunday around 1.4k, Monday around 1.8-1.9k.What is going on??? I'm so tired of fitbit apps and devices...!

@SunsetRunner , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for sharing the picture and for updating the thread.

I'm glad to hear that everything went back to normal again.

The operating temperatures for the Charge 4 are (-10° to 40° C) .

If the temperature was over that, that might have caused the misreadings

Also take into consideration, that if the heat is too high, your heart rate might got also higher, witch could have caused that your burned calories increased during the morning walk.

Hope this helps you further. .
