My charge 4 has stopped tracking my HR. I can see HR on watch but its history is not being displayed on the Android App, or on the FitBit webpage dashboard. I got it to restart tracking by resetting watch but it only lasted for a few days and since not even resetting the watch has got it to save the HR history.
I have an irregular heart beat (atrial fibrillation) which has recently got worse. Does FitBit turn of storing HR history when readings become eratic? If so, can I override this as I need to see my history.

On phone app, is the heart rate tile missing, or is it there but with blank display?

Do you have any workouts, to look at your workout summary for a heart rate graph?

If your Fitbit versa is not monitoring the heart rate, the heart rate monitor/tracking on your Fitbit might be turned off. On your Fitbit, go to settings and tap the heart rate to turn the heart rate monitor on. Also, clean the sensor side of your Fitbit to improve contact with the skin

OK...weirdly this morning the HR tracking has come back. Last day recorded prior to that was 1st April. Looking at history there are no entries between 1st April and now for Resting HR but there are entries for each day for the 'Zones'.

Will,
Thanks for replying. HR on watch is being shown on the display. I got hubby to experiment on his CHarge 4 and if you turn off HR tracking on the watch then you dont get any HR number displayed. Similarly, dirty contacts cause no HR number to be displayed as my husband's seen this before on his watch.

Spoke too soon, No HR history for today again. App is showing current pulse and resting HR. Within HR there are no entries for today but there is zone info for today.
On Web site I can see todays HR tracking so issue seems to be with App. Also on web site I can see HR history for all missing days but not the resting HR graph is missing the period.

And today....HR history is showing on App for today but yesterday is still missing.
On web Dashboard, the resting HR graph is showing an entry for today but is missing yesterday's....so we have a consistent link between App not showing HR history and Web Dashboard not showing resting HR for that day.
As someone with a heart condition, and on heart rate limiting drugs, not being able to reliably see my peaks and troughs of HR on the App is an issue...looks like I need to seek an alternative vendor for my next tracking watch.

I find it common that the phone app full day heart rate display doesn't fully update. I can usually get it to fully update by clicking on it, then backing out, then going back into it. But I don't think it really show enough detail to be trusting for your purpose.
A display across your phone's screen is not going to show full 24 hour detail of your heart rate. Just thinking about the pixel width of the display on your phone, how many points it can display, that's probably less than one data point per minute of the day.

Yes, I appreciate that I cant get detailed data but even the 5 minute averages give me a clue as to whether my meds are working or not. I have more precise medical grade devices once I suspect things are going off track.
Next time it does goes wrong I'll try your trick but I think I have tried that and it didn't work.
UPDATE: Gone wrong again (2nd May). Tried your trick but no change, no HR history data displayed for today no matter how many times I go in and out of the HR part of the app.
