Charge 4 is not tracking anything

Yesterday I had an issue with my 16 month old Charge 4, where the screen just went blank during a swim.

Are trying various things othered by 'Live Chat' help and other forum help I did manage to get the device to restart.

The device is syncing lovely with the app on my phone.  The app got the details of my swim, and the device is receiving the calorie intake and water I have logged and I thought job done!

It is not tracking Steps, Floors, Kms, Heart Rate.  It is reminding me every hour to move, but it is not recording any of those steps.  The alarm works, I tried to set of a Walk but this just got stuck and I had to do a hard reset again (same as resolving a blank screen).

Anyone have any suggestions?

Mine stopped giving me the hourly reminder to get up and move, it fails to track the first 30-60 minutes of sleep and heart rate drops from 120 to 67 as the exercise gets harder, then the recorded heart rate picks up again, AFTER I get off the treadmill.

I'm going to try a reset. But not optimistic.

I have fixed my issue, I changed my clock face to a different one and it all started working again.

I then swapped back to the one I had and it stopped working, so not sure if there is a problem with the Retro Double Stat clock.

went to another clock and all up and running so fingers crossed.

I reset my Charge 4, I tightened the strap by 1 hole (I'm normally between holes) and I didn't hold on to my treadmill rail with my left hand - and the watch got my heart rate right (or more plausible anyway). 93 up to 133 and down to about 110 during cooldown - which is good for me.

However, 15 minutes at 2mph is NOT 0.61 miles as my Fitbit suggested. But hey, I'm making progress. Guessing miles walked on a treadmill sounds a tough job to me. So I'll give them that.
