I’ve done 4 flights of stairs this morning and my Fitbit says 0. This happened yesterday as well. I did 30 flights total and most of them did not register. This just started.

I have learned not to rely on the floor counter. I can walk by a fan and receive credit for a floor. I can walk from a hot room to a cold Rome and receive credit for a floor on a breezy day I can walk around the corner of my house and receive credit for a floor. If I want credit for a floor in my house I need to walk rapidly up the stairs. If I walk in a normal speed for a person of my age I do not get credit. There are days where I do laundry which is located in the basement of my home and do approximately 20 floors and receive credit for non-.

IAs far as I know, it relies on air pressure changes. That would explain some wildly inaccurate measures caused by temperature change,and also by changing weather, or even a breeze ( walking by the fan).
