Charge 4 keeps showing 001

Charge 4 new won’ t charge when attached correctly to charger and adapter. Only seeing dots on screen and 001. Is the charger defective

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and let's work on this together. Given that your tracker is new, it seems it got stuck during the set up process and that's why you're not able to see the battery image or the time on the screen. To get your tracker working correctly, let me suggest to try the following:

  1. Go to the Fitbit app, tap on your profile icon > Charge 4.
  2. Scroll down and tap on remove this device. If you have an Android device, tap on the trash can icon at the upper right corner.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth settings in your phone and forget your tracker from the list.
  4. Restart your Charge 4 with the charging cable.
  5. Reboot your phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile icon > Set Up a Device. Choose your Charge 4 and follow the onscreen instructions.
