Hi everyone, Just got a Charge 4 and I am having annoying difficulties trying to get the thing to charge. I am doing everything recommended on here (and other website's advice) - cleaning the device charging area and pins on the charge cable, using the charger provided, I've even taken the strap off to make access easier but it's not vibrating on connection or showing the battery percentage rising. I managed to do it once last week but it took me about 20 minutes and I really have no patience to keep doing this every week. I'm thinking of getting a different device that doesn't have this stupid clip-on cradle charging mechanism as I feel that it's really badly resolved.
So, (1) can anyone give me any other tips on getting the thing to charge and (2) can anyone recommend another Fitbit that has an easier charging mechanism than the stupid clip-on cradle.
Many thanks 🙂

@SunsetRunner , Nice to see you here. Thank you for your message and for your efforts.
According to your description I assume, that you already read this: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
In that case, please give our team a call or chat with them. Here are our contact info.
Regarding your question about the charging options, you could have a look at the Luxe, Charge 5, Versa 3 or Sense.
Hope it helps.

Hi Juan,
Many thanks for your help and info. The reason that the Charge 4 was not charging was that the pins on the charger unit were bending inwards slightly so this was affecting the connection. As I said before, I feel that the charger is not a great design and therefore I am now looking at other options than the Charge 4, despite this being the best option for me, so thank you for highlighting your recommendations and I'll look into those and purchase something else in the Fitbit range.
Regards.
