I am disappointed in my charge 4.
it is approximately 13 months old. It does not hold a charge, Doesn’t work tapping it,
screen dim - can’t read it outside
This is my 3rd Fitbit and last.
they all die about 1 year old. Poor quality

I agree! First my band broke off, and they replaced the Charge 4 because it was still under warranty. Received the new one in January 2022. Not the battery does not hold a charge. Contact support and they said it is out of warranty because my original start date was 1/21, even though they sent me a faulty replacement item 4 months ago. Poor business.

Fitbit totally died yesterday. Contacted support, difficult to understand person, background chatter etc, no resolution. Said “ thanks for report. Fitbit was purchased 4/23/2022. They appear to be designed to die just after 1 year warranty up!!! This happened in the past and they replaced my Alta.

I buy my own replacement band from Amazon. They last longer.

Exact same problem with mine. Replaced in January because of the faulty/broken band connector. And my replacement just stopped holding the charge and the viewing is dimmed right after charging. I haven't called yet, but will probably hear the same answer as you - it's out of warranty.

My charge 4 is exactly one year old and will not hold a charge. I charge it to 100% and within 4 hrs the battery is totally dead.
I’m sick of this crap. Apple watch, here i come.

As predicted - mine is out of warranty. They offered 35% off a new fitbit. Not sure why the replacement charge 4 only lasted 5 months.

My Charge 4 is about 17 months old and I wasn't offered anything at all. It's literally no good outside because the screen is very dim I can't see anything on it.
I had an Alta before this one. Why are they no good after 1 year? Ridiculous! I don't want another one if they stop working so soon.
