Charge 4 not recording any activities properly

My charge 4 all of a sudden has stopped fully recording my activities. Yesterday I did a 3.5 mile walk, an hour swim and an hour on the elliptical.  It recorded 0.3 mile walk (gps not accurate) ,15 min swim and 26 minutes on the elliptical.  This is a sudden change as it has fairly accurately recorded these activities for months.

I’m having the same issues. All started yesterday, Aug 18, the same day it had an update. I was active ALL day and it recorded 6 zone minutes -  no record of doing anything - had well over 10,000 steps.

Are you manually starting the exercise mode, or letting fitbit decide?

I have always had the Fitbit decide and, if needed, would correct from the options available.
