Charge 4 not showing Heart rate variability

Over the last 7 days my charge 4 has only showed heart rate variability 4 times. At least now it’s showing up sometimes. I have reset the Charge 4 and my phone several times, no difference.

I forgot to mention a other thing I did: changing the clock face from the app. 

(Idk how this could contribute to the fix, but do it anyway)

I used these steps last night and did get breathing rate, but not hrv.
Strangely after a year of not having br or hrv, about January 21 through
February 5 of this year I had br and hrv on an almost regular basis. I say
strangely because this is when I lost those numbers in 2021 and have been
without those numbers with a few exceptions since that time in 2021. Too
coincidental but I've had many discussions with fitbit support throughout
the year without any success for resolution.

Did you also change the clock face into a different one than the one you usually use?  

I've always used  Stats Heavy clock, but changed it to Mod Clock as a last step in the fix I did. (Again, I don't know if it helps at all, but that's what I did)

(Maybe this problem, generally speaking, is planned obsolescence)

Also wear the Charge 4 in your dominant hand, and set the wrist placement to  Dominant.
