Hi All, I started to wear my new Charge 4 for 5 days now.

1st day, Apps doesn't have sleep data and sleep score.

2nd day same thing.

3rd day, 4th day and 5th day, Apps starting to give sleep data and sleep score however those two data doesn't sync to my Charge 4.

I rebooted my Charge 4 through:

1. Settings > About > Reboot Device and sync with the Mobile Apps. Result is still no sleep data and sleep score on my Charge 4.

2. While charging hold the button for 8 seconds and after that sync with the Mobile Apps. Result is still the same no sleep data and sleep score on my Charge 4.

Also I uninstalled my Fitbit apps on my mobile device (Samsung Galaxy Note 10+) and reinstalled and sync. Result also the same no sleep data and sleep score on my Charge 4.

Please help.

Thank you very much in advance.

Has this problem been resolved yet? I have no sleep data on my Charger 4 tracker but data available on the app. I have gone through a reboot and sync as per others suggestions

I use the PC app now and it works fine. The Android app continues to have
problems.

So Fitbit are working on the problem?  I just bought a new Charge 4 after my Charge 2 died, and it’s now 2022.  I was excited to be able to see my sleep data on my wrist.  But no, I cannot see my sleep data on my wrist.  Sure I can see it in the app, but a selling point of this device was to be able to see it on the actual device and I liked that.  It’s one of the reasons I decided on this model.  It’s just silly having a device that says “sleep score” and “sleep” with absolutely no data shown ever.  It’s a bit like if my phone decided it wasn’t able to display the time say.  So when you looked for the time it would just say “no data”.  That would not be acceptable, and neither is this.  Please hurry up and fix it Fitbit, or maybe you should drop the price of the device by 20% and stop advertising features the device clearly does not have.  Does the GPS even work?  I haven’t seen any data for that either yet.

Okay so this is weird.  When my Fitbit arrived in the mail from Fitbit.Com overseas, I charged it fully before attempting to use it.  I just charged it the other day for the second time ever, and after I took it off the charger it’s showing sleep data.  I’ve even got it showing spO2 values now, and I think it already updated today even though it’s first thing.

It just won’t update my weight data now from my Aria scale.  I’ve weighed myself twice since I got it, and it’s still showing the old weight, I know because I dropped below a target and it’s still showing the number before I dropped below the target.  Still waiting for it to measure skin temperature too.  I’ve not yet had a single reading for that.

I've had my Fitbit for two years now. The sleep data issue on the phone hasn't been fixed. Most nights I have no sleep score until I delete logs and add my own manually. I get sp02 once in a blue moon, same with skin temp and they never display on my watch. I can't wait until it gets too old and I can get a different smart watch that works with my Samsung.

Still no real advances here.  Fitbit said they were working on it over two years ago.  I do very occasionally get sleep data on my wrist, but it’s extremely rare.  It’s like it comes up when I charge it, but at a random number of charges since the last charge.  Then it’s on there for a few hours, then gone again.  I thought it was fixed the second time I charged it, but no.  It doesn’t even seem to want to connect properly with my iPhone SE (2016).  It’ll synch the data okay, but I’m not getting any notifications on my wrist, was not a problem with my Charge 2 which I was using up until a few months ago when it died.

The O2 saturation is not a problem, it almost always shows on my wrist.  The occasional time it doesn’t, it’s because it wasn’t measured.  Was very useful (and accurate) during a recent bout of pneumonia.  Someone mentioned skin temperature here but I don’t think skin temperature is meant to report on your wrist?  Mine reports just fine on the app, I guess it just needed to establish my baseline.

The inbuilt GPS works better than the device thinks it does.  It says connecting for a very long time, whether I have my phone on me or not. I used to wait, now I just press start to start the counter, and when I get home, almost invariably I have all the GPS data from the walk on my app.

UPDATE: I noticed best answer has been chosen a few days ago by a moderator, answer is from June 2020, written by a moderator, and says “We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible”.  That’s over two years ago now, and the problem still appears unresolved.  Says it all really.
