Hi there, @Morrisons. Welcome to the Community Forums.
To better assist you, would you mind providing more details of your issue? May I know how you track your exercises? Do you manually start them directly on your Charge 4 or you let SmartTrack to detect them? Are you having issues with all type of exercises or just with biking?
Please know that most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. To start, the default duration settings of your Fitbit device is 15 minutes long. However, you can also choose which activities your device tracks automatically, or change the amount of time needed to record the activity. To do so, please follow the next steps:
You can learn more about the SmartTrack feature in this link How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?
=
Keep in mind that you can also use the Exercise app to start and stop a workout. For more information, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
Last but not least, please make sure that your Charge 4 is up-to-date. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?

Your tips and troubleshooting steps as usual never help at all. This is an issue that has been going on for years and it looks like Fitbit has done nothing to fix it
