Charge 4 not tracking and updating.

Hi all,

 

I just got my brand new Fitbit charge 4 and can't seem to get it to work.

 

I downloaded the app and charged the watch. I then connected it to my phone via the app. It said it was synced and I was good to go. Not sure if firmware was updated it says my firmware version is 48.20001.100.34. I searched online and found the app should tell me if an update is available in the account settings which I don't see.

 

I've put on the watch and played around with the watch. No steps or heartbeat is being tracked. I've done some research and tried turning on the heart rate on and off via the settings no luck. I've tried resetting the device multiple times via about menu and no luck.

 

Any help would be much appreciated. I'm quite bummed as I have also signed up for premium and can't get the watch to work

Also you can restart your device.
