Charge 4 screen has gone black

The screen on my Charge 4 is black.  I have tried the hard reset (the only way that I 

could see a faint smiley face was to do the reset in the total dark so I know it did reset) and I changed the clock face six times, the brightness setting is on normal.  I noticed that it has been getting dimmer over the past 2 months especially while outside, it is now

impossible to see anything except in a totally dark room at night. I have had my Fitbit

for a year and five months. I do not want to buy a Charge 5 because it does not have an altimeter and because the Charge 4 bands that I have will not fit.  I would change to my

Charge 3 but I’m afraid that I won’t be able to see the number on the screen to reconnect 

it again. Does Fitbit offer a repair service? Any help would be appreciated!
