Charge 4 seems to have died. First the screen went fragmented and was hard to read, now it is black

Hi Fitbit,

M Charge 4 has gone black and won't do anything. It also won't pair with my phone. First the screen went fragmented and was very hard to read - for the last 2 weeks. I wore it swimming this morning and when I tried to click finish, I just got the smiley face and then it went blank. It had plenty of charge in it so it wasn't the battery. I've plugged it in and tried to do the reset but literally nothing happens. Has it died? I'm sure a previous fitbit Charge 3 I had did exactly the same thing.

What can you advise please?

Do the green LEDs blink?

 

Did you tried to restart the Charge 4?How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hi Juan, No the green LED lights did not blink and restarting did nothing either. But thankfully Fitbit has now told me they will replace it!

Fitbit my device is also doing this. I can do the reset in the charger and it works for a bit and then after couple of hours have to do it again

My Fitbit is doing the same thing and does have the green led light on but after following the restart instructions, the screen still does not work. It appears to still be tracking in the app though. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

My screen now wont reset at all either. Assume you installed last update also?

My device seems to have a similar problem. Synced fine just over an hour ago and said it had 63% charge. Now it's dead: blank unresponsive screen, no vibrations, and won't sync. The leds don't flash. 

Restarting doesn't work.
