I cannot figure out how to set up a daily alarm like I had on my Charge 2 - any ideas?

on the device, not on phone.

I can’t see where you can erase an alarm once set up on the new Charge 4

How do you erase one once you’ve set it up?

Best Answer

I figured it out.  You got to alarms and swipe left. It reads “edit” and you can either change it or deleted.

Fitbit: Please return the silent alarm setting option to the iOS app! Setting alarms on the Charge 4 device itself isn’t easy. Please add setting to app again! I’m seriously considering returning my Charge 4 simply based on this lack of ease with alarm setting. Thank you!

Me too - I am going to return this Charge 4 I think. I had a charge 2 and I thought I was upgrading, and for the price I am VERY disappointed.  the font for notifications is so small I cannot read it so that's basically a useless feature and I used to have a silent alarm set daily for two things I needed to do every day and now this seems not to be available.  I am going back to the Charge 2 with the shorter battery life.  This is NOT an upgrade.  Very disappointed, Fitbit.

Hey,

You can set two daily silent alarms, just not through your app. It has to be done on your fitbit. If you swipe right you can go through the apps on your fitbit. Once at the alarms app you press the plus and you can set your alarm. You can even say which days you want the alarm.

Once you've done that, you can click the plus again and set the other alarm (:

If people don't want the ability to add/delete/modify alarms on the Charge 4, why was everyone requesting this feature for the Charge 3?

Best Answer

i can’t swipe left. All I get is set a new alarm . I’ve now set the same alarm 5 times because I can’t see if an alarm is set..

Fitbit is going to DRIVE their users to Apple making these stupid decisions to remove functionality with it's UPRADED projects! I had a Charge 2 and purchaced a Charge 4 and cannot set my alarms with my Iphone?? I can't see the tiny words on the charge so I RELY on the iphone screen to do most things! Stop screwing this up fitbit!

Thanks for the info. At my age it's soo much easier working on a 6 inch screen (iphone) than the little 1 inch screen (Fitbit). I bought my charge for for it's small form and size, not to use as a viewscreen... how can they not understand that? But thanks again for users like yourself sharing what you know. ; )

@Rich_Laue maybe because the best thing would be from both phone and tracker?

I agree with everyone on setting the silent alarm, only from the watch. ??? It’s terrible, I’m also returning my Fitbit 4 back to the store. I was happy with the charge 2, I broke the screen , hence I had to buy a new one, I thought I was upgrading with the charge 4, but not even close.

Yes @Giampi71 that would be nice, but you have been around long enough to realize things are not always implemented as the user requests.

To see a list of the set alarms.

  • Swipe left to alarms
  • Tap alarm
  • A list of set alarms and status will show
  • Scroll up if to see additional alarms.
  • If this alarm is bright, the alarm is set to go off
  • If the alarm is dim, this alarm is disabled

Tap on alarm to open the settings

  • Disable - Enable
  • Change day and time

It is a must. I had owned Charge 2 and Charge 3, but I am seriously thinking about leaving the Fitbit users family only for this downgrade.

That's great,  but then I can't get out of that screen no matter what I do. Help!!
