Charge 4 shows way to many steps

I have a charge 5 and have handed over my charge 4 to my husband. When we walk together, he gets way to many steps.

Mine shows 8800, he gets 12 000! Since we've used step counters before, we know he is getting it all wrong. 

We have tried to change the wrist to non dominant, and I have checked the settings and his personal settings. The stride length is set to auto, but he got 0,72 and mine is 0,64, which seems ok.

I need some help here, or he is going to quit using his fitbit

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 4. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

 

In addition to the troubleshooting steps you've performed, please visit this article, open the menu "What can I do if my step count seems inaccurate?" and follow the instructions.

 

If you haven't done so, please restart your Charge 4 by following these steps.
