For the first time ever I got my Fitbit wet in a hot tub. Now my Fitbit does not track steps heartbeat or anything I have to charge it to even see anything and it dies so fast how can I correct this

Please note that all Fitbit trackers and smartwatches are water-resistant, which means they're rainproof and splash-proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. You can swim or shower with certain Fitbit devices. Fitbit Versa series are swimproof up to 50 meters in a lake, pool, or ocean.
If your watch got wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. If your watch has come into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser (like Cetaphil) and dry it with a lint free-cloth. Be sure to follow our Wear and Care instructions to keep your device clean.
Water resistance may diminish over time and can be negatively impacted by any of the following:
